Please note that Mitchell is a Vo-tech and college town...As a city we have our highest number of rental vacancies the month of May. Vo-tech and college students go home to MOM and DAD or off to a job, and that is also the month when parents with children in school do their moving. Properties start to fill back up the month of June and by July most rentals are full for the year. Last year we we did not have a any vacancies again untill the end of November. The sooner you come and look the better your chances of finding something you like. If you wait too long you might find yourself having to rent something you consider to be below your standards or maybe ABOVE WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD.
